Easy Gigs to Bring in Some Extra Cash

Here’s a quick blog to share some side gigs to bring in some extra cash to pay your bills, or to save for a new car, or whatever your case may be.

  1. Drop Shipping.
    1. Drop shipping is essentially being a middle man on an auction site such as Ebay.com or Amazon.com. The nice thing about drop shipping is, you actually never touch any products. You advertise their product, with a up charge, then when its sold, you purchase the item and have it shipped to the buyer’s address.
  2. Mystery Shopper
    1. You’re job would be to take assignments and go to local retail stores, restaurants, etc. and then report what you saw, and share how your experience was. Mystery shopping is very flexible as you can sometimes pick and choose which locations you go to, Some do very few visits a week and earn $100, then there are people who Mystery Shop full time and earn sometimes over $500 weekly.
  3. Uber
    1. Uber is a website that allows people to find a ride. You would be acting as a Taxi, picking up someone who has ordered your service and agreed to pay your wages. You would be responsible to take them to school, work, to the airport, it could be anywhere.
  4. Affiliate Marketing
    1. Affiliate Marketing is when you sell a product owned by another company and then in return they pay you a commission, usually between 10%-30%. Depending on your sales and generated traffic.
  5. Rent out an extra room
    1. If you have a spare bedrooom that is not being used, or a basement, why not rent it out? You are not using it, buy you might as well utilize it. Rent out a spare room for $400 a month, that’s $4,800 extra that year. But if you have a finished basement, and you set it up to pretty much be an apartment, you could easily rent it out for $700-$1000 a per month!

Finding the Motivation to continue building your business

When something bad happens to us, it’s natural to feel broken or lost. When starting a business or even a part time business, it can be very challenging. Constant ups and downs, wins and losses. You could be at your breaking point right now and that could be the reason you’re here. I’m going to give a few tips on staying motivated to make what you created a success.

1. Always have goals set for you business.
-create goals that are somewhat challenging, but you know you can achieve with some hard work and dedication. Something along the lines of making a certain amount one year, or expanding your business to new areas, or offering a new service, there’s a million different goals you could have, just pick one at a time and keep on keeping on. Always do what’s best for your company.

2. Pre-plan where you want your business to go.
-kind of like a goal, but it’s more of a long distant goal. This is the main goal or dream for your company. Everything you do should be beneficial to this plan and help you grow as a business.

3.Never forget why you started.
-Do you remember why you started your business? was it to be completely independent, to have something to pass on to your kids? to have extra income to support your family? What ever your reason, just stick to it. never let that go because that’s what made you get going in the first place, that was your original motivation.

4. Always plan ahead.
-Planning ahead is a great thing. Plan what you’re next moves are, you always want to be 1 step ahead of the business. Saving money for your business is always a great idea. Having the money to buy the equipment needed for bigger and better paying jobs is a must, how can you grow and you can’t afford to do the job? If you’re constantly taking money out of your business to buy personal items or fancy job meetings, it’s going to be short lived and greatly regretted. If your business is doing great, then there is no loss of motivation. Think smart, but spend smarter.

I hope this helps, please feel free to leave some feedback. I’m interested to know what you guys have to think, and if you have any tips for others, please feel free to leave them in the comment section. If I agree with your idea, I will add it to the post and give you your credit, Thanks for reading. Have a good one!

First Blog!

What’s going on everyone, I’m starting this blog to give you guys ideas on how to make money on the side or as a teenager. Let’s not waste any time and jump right into it.

First things first, if you’re good at a certain skill, try thinking of a way to turn that skill into a profitable skill. For instance, if you work as a mechanic, fix cars on your days off, if you’re a plumber, do jobs you already have the tools for, and start your way up from there.
-fixing computers
-cutting lawns
-landscaping
-yard clean up
-web design
-video editing
-baby sitting
-washing/detailing cars
-pet walking/sitting
-cleaning houses
-collecting scrap metal
-pool cleaning
-snow removal
-pet waste clean-up
-pet training
-buying and selling on eBay/craigslist or garage sales

Teach your skill, or teach something else you love. You can make money teaching people things you have already mastered. such as;
-computer coding
-musical instruments
-tutoring
-cooking
-baking
-video/music editing

Start your own side business, set up a side job that you can work a couple hours or so after your regular job, or school. If you have an idea for starting a business, just try it, don’t be hesitant because you’re worried it could fail, because if you don’t even try, how could it even be successful.

Lets say you wanted to start a lawn care service. You’re already working 40 hours a week, you could start out cutting one lawn every day after work. at $20 a lawn, you’re making an extra $100 a week. Next thing you know, you’re cutting two lawns a day, making $200 a week. That’s $800 EXTRA a month. Add in a few weekend lawns, and you’re easily making an extra $1,000 a month. Not so bad for a side job.

Please feel free to leave any ideas to help anyone out, I hope this helped.
